- Job Description The Senior AI Scientist will be involved in the research and development for various fundamental algorithms to analyse and interpret healthcare data. Work with the team of AI scientists to design the algorithm, implement, customize, and fine-tune for application into products. Key Responsibilities Research, design, and optimize deep learning models tailored for healthcare diagnostics and applications. Develop novel technical solutions at the intersection of AI and healthcare, pushing the boundaries of what AI can achieve in the medical field. Optimize AI models for deployment across diverse platforms, including cloud, on-premises, and IoT devices. Collaborate with deployment teams to ensure seamless integration and robust performance of AI modules in real-world applications. Apply scientific methodologies to generate analytical and clinical evidence supporting the performance of algorithms. Participate in peer-reviewed publications and technical presentations to share research findings with the broader scientific community. Assist in the testing, optimization, and maintenance of algorithm modules to ensure reliability and efficiency. Monitor deployed models and iterate as needed to maintain high accuracy and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and clinicians, to understand and address unique challenges in healthcare. Brainstorm and propose innovative AI-driven solutions for new healthcare problems. Required Skills And Qualifications Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Hands-on experience in developing, training, and optimizing AI/ML models for deployment. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, with a focus on machine learning libraries and tools. Solid understanding of computer vision and natural language processing (NLP) techniques. Experience in publishing research papers or contributing to scientific conferences. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to validate models and interpret results with clinical significance. Knowledge of healthcare data standards, regulatory requirements, and medical imaging techniques is a plus. Familiarity with data preprocessing, augmentation, and annotation pipelines for healthcare datasets. Understanding of software development practices, including version control systems like Git. Preferred Qualifications A Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. Previous experience working in the healthcare domain or on healthcare-related AI projects. Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for AI deployment. Familiarity with IoT frameworks and tools for edge device integration. Key Attributes Self-motivated and passionate about leveraging AI to solve real-world healthcare challenges.
