Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing & Maintenance) Intern to join our team. The intern will assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic surgical instruments and devices. This role also involves supporting manufacturing activities such as assembly, testing, and quality inspection of mechanical components. Key Responsibilities Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic surgical instruments and devices. Support manufacturing activities, including assembly, testing, and quality inspection of mechanical components. Assist in prototyping activities, including 3D printing, machining, and material testing. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency. Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Education: Diploma or ongoing Engineering degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or allied fields. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical concepts such as fasteners, power transmission, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and fits. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360) is a major plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of actuators, 3D printing, and prototyping is beneficial. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Enthusiastic and eager to learn in a fast-paced engineering setting.,
