Backend Engineer (Senior/Staff) | 610 Yrs Experience | Global Impact About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior/Staff Backend Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems. You will work on high-impact projects, ensuring reliability, performance, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities System Architecture & Development: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services. API Development: Build and optimize RESTful or GraphQL APIs. Database Management: Work with SQL/NoSQL databases for efficient data handling. Performance Optimization: Enhance system efficiency, reduce latency, and ensure scalability. Collaboration: Work closely with frontend, product, and DevOps teams for seamless integration. Code Quality & Mentorship: Maintain high code quality, conduct reviews, and mentor junior engineers. Required Skills & Experience 610 years of backend development experience. Strong expertise in Java, Node.js, Python, or Go (as per company stack). Experience with microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and Docker/Kubernetes. Strong understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.). Hands-on experience with authentication protocols (OAuth2.0, JWT, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Nice to Have Experience in distributed systems & event-driven architectures. Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
