Job Description
- Senior Lead in Database Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Lead in Database Management with expertise in modern database technologies, software engineering concepts, and strong hands-on experience in system design, application development, and operational stability. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and a deep understanding of agile methodologies. This role requires leadership in database architecture, development, and implementation within various technical disciplines. Responsibilities: Software Engineering Expertise: Possess formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience. System Design and Development: Hands-on practical experience in delivering system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability. Database Technologies: Sound understanding of modern database technologies such as NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra), Distributed RDBMS like CockroachDB, In-memory databases like Redis, etc. Programming Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, etc. Infrastructure as Code (IAC): Hands-on practical experience with Terraform or any other Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tool. Automation and Continuous Delivery: Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle. Agile Methodologies: Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. Technical Leadership: Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.). Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus. Extensive hands-on experience in system design, application development, and operational stability. Strong understanding and practical experience with modern database technologies including NoSQL, Distributed RDBMS, and In-memory databases. Advanced proficiency in Java, Python, Go, or similar programming languages. Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IAC tools. Proven ability in automation, continuous delivery, and Agile methodologies. Demonstrated leadership skills in technical architecture and development. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications related to database technologies or software engineering. Previous experience in a senior leadership role focused on database management. Experience in deploying and managing databases in cloud environments. Familiarity with AI, ML, or mobile application development.,
