Optimize and tune database performance for high availability and scalability. Implement database security and data protection measures. Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures. Monitor database performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency. Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolution. Requirements: Proven experience as a Database Engineer, Database Administrator, or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Experience with database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of database security best practices and data protection. Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills: Knowledge of cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). Experience with database automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). Certification in database management or related field (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
