Job Description
- Job Description - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for BI solutions- Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, and other relevant tools- Lead and mentor a team of BI developers, providing guidance and technical expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality BI solutions- Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure the availability, accuracy, and timeliness of data for reporting and analytics purposes- Knowledge of ETL processes from various sources into the data warehouse or BI platforms- Promote best practices for data visualization, user experience, and data governance within the BI ecosystem- Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Primary Skills Proven experience of 6+ years as a BI Developer or in a similar role- Proficiency in at least two BI tools: Qlik, Power BI, Tableau- Showcase experience in 2-3 complete life cycle implementation of BI projects- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques- Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data from relational databases- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modelling principles- Experience in optimizing and fine-tune BI solutions for performance and efficiency- Leadership experience in guiding and mentoring a team of BI developers- Good documentation skills to deliver BRDs, architecture, specifications document, project plan etc.- Basic experience of cloud concepts- Knowledge of Alteryx, Informatica or other ETL tools for data blending, preparation, and automationSecondary Skills-Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.-Experience working with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake)-Knowledge of Low-code/No-code platforms like MS Power Apps- Experience with programming languages such as Python for data manipulation and analysis- Knowledge in embedding BI visualizations and reports into web applications- Previous exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), NoSQL databases,
