Job Description
- Role Manager, Data Science Location Kolkata (preferred) / PAN India Experience 3 to 5 years Education Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent/ Statistics/ Data Science.(Candidates from tier 1 institute or tier 1 consultancy organizations are preferred or Premier institute preferred. ) Number of Positions 1 Experience Experience of at least 2 full cycle data science/ predictive analytics/ statistical modelling projects, at least 3 years of data science and statistical experience, with 4+ of industry experience. Essential Skills Development of new application and maintaining existing applications Analytical Skills Management Consultancy experience on data science Knowledge of wide range of Machine Learning and Statistical techniques Expertise/ Experience in predictive analytics solution design through functional analysis and application of machine learning or statistics Expertise/ Experience in data processing techniques required for machine learning or statistical processes Exposure to streaming data analytics (video/ image/ audio/ IoT) * Technical Competencies Experience of hands on implementation of different machine learning and statistical techniques Experience and expertise in Python/ PySpark programming with data science libraries (e.g. Numpy, Pandas, scikitlearn, TensorFlow) Experience in using Excel at advanced level for statistical/ exploratory analysis Required Skills: Expert guidance to the team from domain and technique perspective in data science Expert guidance to projects (managers) and business development (leads) from domain and technique perspective in data science Owner of data science Solution Design, Roadmap, Effort Estimations for projects and PoCs Owner and initiator of the data science capability artefacts Demos, Whitepapers, Case Studies, Best Practices Owner of data science solutions reliability and performance Build data science competency at portfolio level through grooming juniors Create data science approach/ frameworks to be leveraged in projects Conduct trainings on domain and technique perspective in data science within the portfolio SPOC Human Resources Mail to hidden_email,
