REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES: Bachelors Degree, Trade school certificate in Network Administration and / or Equivalent Experience 8+ years as Network Engineer in a Medium to Large Enterprise Environment Must have Cisco Switching, Routing, Cisco Meraki, and ASA knowledge. Must have Load balancer F5. Must have Palo Alto Firewall Knowledge Good to have NSX Should have knowledge on ticketing tool Service now etc. Should be comfortable with Incident management, Change Management, Service request management and problem management. Advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and creative thinking skills. Advanced understanding of networking technologies Experience with Network devices code upgrade Experience with Network devices backup and restore Experience with other enterprise level technologies such as bandwidth requirement assessment. Understanding of technical support practices such as ticket documentation, SLAs, and escalation processes. Any configuration management tool such as Chef would be a plus Quick learner, self-starter, the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work within time constraints and follow set processes and procedures. Customer focused, a team player, and able to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Industry certifications such as CCNP, F5-CA,F5-CTS,LTM ,PCNSA or PCNSE etc. a plus Advanced level analytical and problem-solving abilities. Should be comfortable with 24*7 support in rotational shift. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of the Networks within the scope of the Networks Team. Troubleshooting any network related issues Support and maintain Network devices standards configuration Administrating Network Access Controls system Administrating the cisco solutions and other network related softwares. Upgrade the codes for the network devices as a proactive measure. Analyze network activity and performance, using network logs to troubleshoot and track the nature and resolution of problems. Managing, and troubleshooting and getting the network devices replaced. Participation in annual DR testing exercises as required. Maintain and create documentation as required.
