Job Description
- Job Title: IT & Information Security Manager (BFSI Sector) Position Overview: - We are seeking an experienced IT & Information Security Manager with 10+ years of expertise in managing IT infrastructure and information security, specifically in the BFSI sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud environments, strong security acumen, and a track record of implementing best practices in line with ISO27001 and NIST frameworks. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and compliant IT systems that support business continuity, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: - IT & Information Security Management: Lead the design, installation, and configuration of IT services while maintaining system standards. Oversee and maintain system/service security by performing regular security monitoring to identify potential intrusions. Ensure robust security controls across Firewalls, ZTNA, DLP, IPS/IDS, Network Access Controls, Email Gateways, Web Filtering, Endpoint Protection, and more. Develop, implement, and enforce security procedures to maintain the highest level of security across all systems. Ensure strict compliance with security policies and industry regulations (ISO27001, NIST). Collaboration & Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize the Banks IT infrastructure, performance, and security protocols. Provide second-level support for IT systems, managing communication with third-party vendors to implement systems and resolve technical issues. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Actively participate in the creation, maintenance, testing, and execution of the organizations Disaster Recovery plan, ensuring business continuity in the event of an incident. Performance Analysis & System Optimization: Analyze the performance of IT environments and propose recommendations for improvements and optimizations. Ensure systems are continuously available, high-performing, cost-efficient, and up to date. Technology Evaluation & POC Engagement: Engage in Proof of Concepts (POC) for new infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment with the latest technologies, industry standards, and emerging trends. Qualifications & Skills: - 10+ years of hands-on experience in IT and Information Security, specifically in the BFSI sector. Strong experience with cloud environments and related security solutions. Expertise in security technologies such as Firewalls, ZTNA, DLP, IPS/IDS, Email Gateways, Web Filtering, and Endpoint Protection. Knowledge and experience with ISO27001 and NIST security frameworks. Proven track record in managing disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution. Ability to analyze IT environments and propose improvements for optimal performance. Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing third-party vendor relationships. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) would be a plus.
