Job Description
As a GCP Cloud Architect , you will be part of agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.
Y our key responsibilities include:
- Architect and design GCP platform led data analyticssolutions, lead design teams to implement scalable and secure cloudarchitectures on GCP to meet the business needs.
- Hands-on implementation experience on GCP data engineeringareas
- Develop and execute pilots, go-to-market and win newbusiness. Support pre-sales/sales activities on Google cloud data analytics services
- Practice development and growth, thought leadership
- Design build end-to-end data ingestion, processing andmanagement solutions for healthcare data on GCP (e.g., DICOM, Image dataprocessing)
- Design and develop re-usable assets / solutions on cloud
- Develop cloud solution architectures include compute,storage, networking, security and data management components.
- Provide expertise in GCP services and features and recommendthe most appropriate solutions based on the requirements and industry bestpractices.
- Conduct performance assessment and evaluate efficiency ofcloud solutions
- Design and implement migration strategies for existingapplications and workloads to the GCP environment.
- Ensure compliance, security governance policies andimplement best practices for data protection and privacy.
- Stay up to date with latest trends, technologies andadvancements in GCP ecosystem and cloud computing.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship to junior team members.
- Liaison with Centralarchitectural practice and align closely with Business for architecturaldecision making, roadmaps and related strategies
Education

B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc (IT/CS)
Mandatory Skills
- Overall 15+ years of IT experience. Shouldhave architected and implemented at least 2 end-to-end large data analytics programs on GCP (Google cloud). At least 4+ years of hand-on workexperience on cloud
- Experience in architecting, designing andbuilding cloud Datalake, Data warehouse ETL pipelines using Google Cloud Servicessuch as , Cloud Storage, Cloud Dataflow, Data Proc ,Pub Sub/Kafka , Big QueryBig Table is mandatory
- Hands on Experience in designing and buildingproduction data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption within a hybridbig data architecture, using Cloud Native GCP
- Proven hands-on ability in one or moreprogramming or scripting languages- Python, Scala, Java, R and UNIX Shell.
- Extensive experience working with SQL across avariety of databases
- Experience working with both structured andunstructured data sources in Bigdata systems (Cloudera , Hadoop etc.)
Desired Skills
- Experience working with the Healthcaredomain/applications, Google Healthcare APIs and specifically DICOM APIs is goodto have.
- GCP Data Engineering or Solution Architectcertificate desirable
