Job Description
- Experience : 6+ relevant Location: Hyderabad(Work from office) PRIMARY SKILLS: MS SQL Server DB Specialisation / SSIS pakcages Good to have: Exposure to other Databases as as SQL Server, MySQL, DB2 etc. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION: Strong on Advanced SQL queries and troubleshooting Optimize database systems for performance efficiency. Perform space management and capacity planning for database systems. Identify any issues related to query performance and provide corrective measures. Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures , views and triggers to support application development. Troubleshoot and resolve the DB related issues (queries, functions, views, procedures, joins etc.) Work with application team and train them on Advanced SQL query skills Participate in database design and architecture to support application development projects. Design, develop and implement database systems based on project/product/application requirements. Develop database Schema, tables and dictionaries as needed. Perform data back-up and archival on regular basis. Test databases and perform bug fixes. Troubleshoot database related issues in a timely fashion. Designing and developing SSIS / SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from numerous upstream systems for processing by QRM Builds data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another Debug and tune SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, ) and database security Experience working with SSIS packages Proficient with ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized usage. Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency. Develop best practices for database design and development activities. Quality assurance through code reviews, setting coding standards and driving continual improvement activities Provide oversight and architectural guidance to a team Leadership andMentoring department and peers Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills take initiative to drive projects to successful conclusion Experience of working in an agile project execution methodology Good to Have : Experience using bulk loading methods on MS-SQL , Oracle databases, SSIS Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Night shift Shift allowance Yearly bonus Application Question(s): How many days of notice period do you have Do you have an experience working in MS SQL Server / SSIS Packages Experience: MS SQL Developer: 6 years (Preferred) SSIS: 4 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person,
