Role Overview We are looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to join our team for a 6-month remote internship. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about financial modeling, startup valuation, and venture capital. The intern will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities, analyzing financial data, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Develop financial models to assess the performance and potential of startup investments. Conduct startup valuation analyses using methods like DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, and Precedent Transactions. Analyze financial statements, market trends, and unit economics for venture capital investment decisions. Assist in building pitch decks and investment memos for internal review and external stakeholders. Track key financial metrics and performance indicators for portfolio companies. Research blockchain and Web3 investment trends to identify emerging opportunities. Collaborate with the investment team to support due diligence on potential deals. What Were Looking For Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and startup investment frameworks. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial modeling tools. Experience with VC metrics (burn rate, CAC, LTV, runway, etc.). Ability to interpret financial statements and analyze startup funding rounds. Knowledge of blockchain, fintech, or digital public infrastructure is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Additional Details Compensation: Paid (details will be shared during the interview process).
