    Deputy Manager - Operations Essential/ Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Cost Control: Monitor and optimize inventory-related costs without affecting quality or service. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with logistics, procurement, and finance to align inventory with organizational goals. Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records and comply with regulatory standards. Vendor Management: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries. KPI Monitoring: Define and assess KPIs for material management, taking corrective actions as needed. Budget Planning: Contribute to budget development and identify cost-saving opportunities. Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and implement improvements. Forecasting & Planning: Develop strategies based on demand forecasting and market trends to ensure optimal stock levels. Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends to guide procurement and storage decisions. Operational Duties Quality Control: Collaborate with quality teams to ensure materials meet standards and address quality issues. Demand Forecasting: Analyze data and trends to forecast demand for accurate inventory planning. Team Supervision: Lead and support stock auditors and inventory control staff. Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure timely material availability by coordinating within the supply chain. Risk Management: Identify inventory risks and develop mitigation strategies. Logistics & Distribution: Collaborate to optimize material movement and delivery times. Budgeting: Contribute to material budgets and monitor financial adherence. Order Fulfillment: Oversee order processing and coordinate to meet material needs. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure material handling practices follow safety regulations. Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality. Required Work Experience And Knowledge 5-8 years of experience in material management, procurement, logistics, or a related field. Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Required Education A bachelor's degree in fields such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline is often necessary/ Masters in Business Administration. Skills Required Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture. Team Management: Proficiency in managing and mentoring teams, delegating tasks effectively, and resolving conflicts. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
