We are seeking a skilled Power Electronics Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing power electronic circuits and systems for a range of applications. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-performance and efficient power solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test power electronics circuits, including AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC converters. Perform simulations and analysis of power electronic designs using tools like SPICE, MATLAB, or similar. Select appropriate components such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, inductors, and capacitors for optimized performance. Develop control algorithms for power electronics applications. Conduct thermal and EMI/EMC analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards. Prototype and test circuits, debugging issues, and optimizing performance. Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to integrate power systems. Ensure compliance with relevant safety and efficiency standards (IEC, UL, CE, etc.). Document designs, test results, and create technical reports. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field. Strong understanding of power electronics principles and topologies. Experience with circuit simulation and PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, OrCAD). Proficiency in embedded systems and microcontroller programming is a plus. Knowledge of power semiconductor devices and magnetics design. Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and function generators. Familiarity with industry standards and compliance testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automotive, renewable energy, or industrial power electronics applications. Knowledge of digital control techniques for power electronics.
