- Job Description: Camera Image Quality Engineer Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Camera Image Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in optimizing camera performance and ensuring superior image quality for mobile devices. This role involves a blend of camera testing, sensor calibration, and image processing optimization to deliver exceptional visual experiences to end-users. Key Responsibilities: Image Quality Evaluation: Conduct objective image quality testing using tools like Imatest, MTF, and SSIM. Perform subjective evaluations, including user studies and real-world testing, to assess sharpness, color accuracy, dynamic range, and noise reduction. Competitive Analysis: Perform competitive benchmarking to analyze and evaluate camera performance relative to industry standards and competitors. Algorithm Optimization: Work with 3A algorithms, including Auto White Balance (AWB), Auto Exposure (AE), and Auto Focus (AF), to enhance overall camera performance. Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure camera systems meet and exceed performance standards. Contribute to R&D efforts to innovate and push the boundaries of camera capabilities. Tools and Technologies: Utilize programming languages such as Python and MATLAB for image processing and testing automation. Develop and implement tools for camera calibration and image quality analysis. Qualifications and Skills: Educational Background: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Imaging Science, or a related field. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of objective and subjective camera image quality evaluation methods. Experience with competitive analysis and camera performance benchmarking. Hands-on experience with 3A algorithms (AWB, AE, AF). Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for data analysis and tool development. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in cross-functional teams with excellent communication and collaboration. Passion for imaging technologies and attention to detail.,
