Software Engineer - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Juniper Networks

• SW development in the areas of platform infrastructure, device drivers, kernel, chassis control, device management, link and interface management.
• You will be required to carry out detailed design and implementation, unit testing, integration of platform software, related device/kernel drivers and other related software components for products and features.
• Work closely with system and solution test teams to ensure correct and complete verification of software and components, for the feature to meet real-life network deployments.
• You will be required to work closely with Juniper Technical Assistance Team, for providing engineering assistance in supporting critical customer escalations for customer deployments.

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of B.E or BTech from a reputed institution in CS/EE with 6+ years of experience is required.

Job Requirement:

• Proficiency with device management, system bringup, FreeBSD/Linux internals;
• Knowledge of network synchronization protocols and their implementation on networking hardware is desirable.
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
• Strong in C/C++ programming, data structures, algorithms.
• Proficiency in software development with Linux/FreeBSD or similar UNIX systems.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or similar discipline.
• A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements with a strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices.
• Candidate must have a strong record delivering software projects on-time and with high quality
• Candidate must possess good oral and written communication skills, be highly self-motivated, and have the ability to work in a team environment.
