- Job Description for Node.JS Lead Role: Are you an experienced Node.js Developer with a strong background in backend development, API design, and cloud-based applications At Divami, we are looking for a talented individual to develop scalable, high-performance server-side applications using Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, modern backend frameworks and micro services architecture based application development. If you have 5-6 years of experience, expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, database management, and a passion for building efficient and robust backend systems, wed love to have you on board. What we are looking for: Requirements: Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. Business Requirements: Ability to understand business needs and translate them into scalable backend solutions. Backend Development: Hands-on experience in Node.js, Express.js, Next.js and related backend frameworks for building high-performance applications. Micro Services Architecture: Hands-on experience in working with highly scalable microservices architecture based application development. API Development: Strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Database Management: Experience working with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases, ensuring optimized data handling. Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and managing cloud-based applications. Authentication & Security: Knowledge of authentication mechanisms like JWT, OAuth, and session management to build secure applications. Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture: Experience in developing microservices-based architectures, message brokers like Kafka/RabbitMQ, and event-driven systems. Performance Optimization: Ability to write efficient, scalable, and reusable backend code, implementing best practices for performance and security. Testing & Debugging: Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools like Mocha, Jest, or Postman. CI/CD & DevOps: Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Version Control: Proficiency in Git, ensuring structured branching and repository management. Agile & SDLC: Understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and best practices for software development. Continuous Learning: Passion for staying updated with the latest trends in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and backend technologies. Team Leadership: At least 2 years of experience in leading a team of 2-3 members. Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective execution and integration of solutions. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a vibrant and youthful team environment, demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment. Qualifications: Experience: 5-6 years of professional experience.
