DESCRIPTION YOU MUST: Always be great friends with our guests and break the ice between you and the travellers with ease Be really really organised Keep cool when the pressure hits Enjoy a super-fast pace Understand this is a business, be passionate about maximising revenue Be creative, innovative and digitally smart Be yourself YOU WILL: Report to the Property Manager Be part of a dynamic team that embodies the Zostel spirit Take full ownership and resolve guest complaints yourself Engage with guests, fostering a passion for independent travel Have in-depth knowledge of your citys cafs, bars, restaurants, art and music Efficiently handle check-in and check-out processes ensuring accurate guest records Manage room reservations, modifications, cancellations and maintain up-to-date availability records Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly providing excellent customer service Use property management software for bookings, check-ins, check-outs and report generation Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready, monitor room inventory and conduct regular inspections Comply with all company policies, including Fire Training, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene YOU ARE: Experienced within a front office hospitality environment and well versed with property management softwares Passionate for the hospitality and the youth travel market Fluent in English with knowledge of an additional language being desirable Experienced working with a Property Management System This is not intended as an exhaustive list of duties.
