Our expertise lies in OSS/BSS solution provider Software & Web Development Enterprise Solutions Mobile App Development Digital Marketing & Transformation Business support system Job Title: Operations Support Engineer (with Motorolas Push-to-Talk) Job Location: KSA - Riyadh Experience: 5 +Years Key Responsibilities: Technical Support & Troubleshooting Provide L2 support for Motorolas Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) and Mission-Critical Push-to-Talk (MCPTT) solutions. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues related to the PTT solution. Act as an escalation point for L1 support teams, analyzing logs, network traces, and system alerts to identify root causes. Work closely with L3 support and Motorola TAC (Technical Assistance Center) for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution. System Administration & Maintenance Monitor server performance, application logs, and network connectivity to ensure high availability of the PTT solution. Perform routine system checks, software updates, and patches in coordination with vendor recommendations. Support system integrations, API configurations, and interoperability testing with other communication platforms. Incident & Problem ManagementDocument, track, and resolve incidents and service requests in the ticketing system. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, Security, IT Operations) to resolve complex technical issues. Customer & Vendor CoordinationWork closely with Motorola support teams for issue resolution and software enhancements. Assist customers in system configuration, provisioning, and troubleshooting. Conduct training sessions for L1 engineers and end-users on PTT system functionalities. Performance Optimization & ReportingMonitor system KPIs and recommend performance improvements. Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles. Generate and present incident reports, system health checks, and service performance metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Experience:3-5 years of experience in L2 support, preferably in telecom, mission-critical communication systems, or enterprise IT solutions. Hands-on experience with Motorola PTT solutions (e.g., WAVE PTX, Dimetra TETRA, ASTRO P25, or MCPTT). Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of IP networking, VoIP, LTE, and radio communication protocols. Experience with Linux-based servers, Windows servers, databases, and cloud-based PTT solutions. Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, TCPDump, etc.).
