Job Summary: NIIT Limited is seeking a passionate and experienced Cyber Security Mentor to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, Linux system administration, ethical hacking, and related fields. As a mentor, you will guide and support our students in developing their skills and knowledge in cybersecurity through interactive learning sessions, hands-on labs, and real-world scenarios. Key Responsibilities: Conduct interactive and engaging mentoring sessions on various cybersecurity topics. Provide expert guidance on Linux system administration essentials and advanced techniques. Teach programming in Python and database management. Explain logical and physical networks, and internetworking with TCP/IP. Guide students through the fundamentals and advanced concepts of cloud computing and containerized virtual infrastructure. Educate students on information security systems and ethical hacking practices. Demonstrate scanning and exploitation techniques for information systems. Oversee and assist with security operations of information systems. Develop and deliver hands-on labs and real-world scenarios to enhance learning. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and offer additional support as needed. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity to ensure current and relevant content delivery. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in Linux system administration, both essentials and advanced levels. Proficiency in programming with Python and working with databases. In-depth knowledge of logical and physical networks, internetworking with TCP/IP. Hands-on experience with cloud computing and containerized virtual infrastructure. Strong understanding of information security systems and ethical hacking techniques. Expertise in scanning and exploitation of information systems. Familiarity with security operations of information systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for teaching and mentoring. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc. Previous teaching or mentoring experience in a related field. Experience with online learning platforms and tools.,
