Research and Development: Conduct research on innovative agricultural technologies, including IoT, automation, and nutrient optimization. Analyze crop performance data to refine farming methods and maximize yields. Team Collaboration: Train and mentor a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals and agronomists on farming best practices. Act as the key agricultural expert in cross-functional discussions with technology and product teams. Sustainability and Compliance: Develop and implement eco-friendly practices for resource-efficient farming. Ensure adherence to local farming regulations and global organic certification standards. Market Exploration: Identify high-demand crops and opportunities for commercialization. Stay informed about global trends in agriculture and align strategies accordingly. Qualifications Educational Background: Masters or Ph.D. in Botany, Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in hydroponics, indoor farming, mushroom cultivation, or organic farming. Proven track record of implementing successful agricultural projects, preferably in high-tech or commercial farming environments. Skills and Expertise: Advanced knowledge of plant physiology, soil health, nutrient cycles, and pest management. Familiarity with IoT, data analytics, and automation tools used in agriculture. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize farming practices. Soft Skills: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
