Position : Housekeeping Supervisor

Job details

• Position: Supervisor - House Keeping
• Job location: Chennai (Vepery) On Roll
• Experience: 6+ years
• Salary: Up to Rs.35000/- CTC per month

Roles & responsibilities

• Train housekeeping staff on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Oversee staff on a daily basis
• Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, garden area, guest area on daily basis
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of any staff absence
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
• Respond to house owner complaints, instructions and special requirements
• Monitor and replenish housekeeping material time-to-time
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

Ensure guests /visitors are attended professionally and maintain visitor book accurately

Skills Required

• Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor
• Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks covering large area
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Excellent organizational and team management skills
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job

Housekeeping experience at a five-star property shall be added advantage

Desired candidate profile

• Minimum 5 years core experience of House Keeping Supervisor in 5-star hotel
• Decent personality & Excellent communication
• Well-versed with MS Office
• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Physical stamina
• Immediate joiner
• Ready to relocate to Chennai
