Job Description
- We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Databricks, and proficiency in SQL. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to build scalable and efficient machine learning solutions. Key Responsibilities: Model Development: Design, implement, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems and drive business insights. Data Engineering: Utilize GCP and Databricks to build and maintain data pipelines, perform data preprocessing, and ensure the availability and quality of data for modeling purposes. SQL Expertise: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases, ensuring that data used for modeling is accurate and relevant. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into machine learning solutions. Performance Tuning: Optimize model performance through rigorous testing, validation, and tuning. Ensure models are scalable and can handle large volumes of data. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for model development, data processing workflows, and system architecture. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, data engineering, and cloud technologies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role, with a proven track record of deploying machine learning models in production. Technical Skills: Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, AI Platform, and Dataflow. Databricks: Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering, data science, and model deployment. SQL: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python or R, and familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Preferred Skills: Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).,
