This role involves developing engaging and effective curriculum materials that inspire students to explore the fields of coding and robotics. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in various educational settings, including classrooms and tutoring environments, and possess strong communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts in an accessible manner. Responsibilities Design and create a comprehensive STEM curriculum focused on coding and robotics for various age groups. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with educational standards. Collaborate with educators to implement the curriculum in classroom settings. Conduct training sessions for teachers and facilitators on how to effectively deliver the curriculum. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Stay updated on the latest trends in technology education and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Requirements Proven experience working with students in classroom settings or through tutoring programs. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for engaging diverse learners. Background in education, particularly in the technology field, is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate students and collaborate with educators. Experience in programming block-based programming languages like Scratch and Blockly is a plus Experience in the text-based programming language Python is a plus Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports all learners, including those with childcare responsibilities.
