Job Overview: As a Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Investment Analyst at Alkimi, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, providing critical support in the analysis, evaluation, and execution of various financial transactions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile deals, including initial coin offerings (ICOs), airdrops, options, futures, equity and debt offerings, and other strategic advisory services. You will gain comprehensive exposure to the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry and develop a robust skill set in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze potential transactions and support decision-making processes. - Valuation Analysis: Conduct detailed valuation analysis using various methodologies, including tokenomics, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and leveraged and option trading (LOT) models. - Market Research: Perform in-depth market research and industry analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes. - Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process by reviewing on-chain data, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, and preparing due diligence reports. - Pitch Books and Presentations: Collate and analyse compelling pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials from cryptocurrency and blockchain companies for investor presentations, and internal discussions. - Transaction Execution: Support the execution of transactions, including drafting information memoranda, coordinating with clients and other stakeholders, and managing data rooms. - Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, calls, and presentations, providing insights and recommendations based on rigorous analysis. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and finance team members to ensure seamless execution of projects and transactions. - Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging project developments to provide innovative solutions to clients. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) are a plus. - Experience: 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or related fields. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Defi Llama, DEX screeners, Twitter, Telegram, Discord and other crypto news outlets.) - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. - Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work products. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely. - Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. - Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure. - Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and environments.,
