Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Estimate the material requirement for manufacturing site.
- Able to handle the project site as per drawing and BOQ.
- Able to co-ordinate with Inter departments, design team, project manager as well vendor.
- Organize and participate with project review meeting.
- Understand the basis of design/layouts and execute it properly.
- Co-ordinate the contractors supervisor and get the daily report.
- Handling manpower independently.
- To achieve the work target and maintain the quality of work.
- Independent to work in cable tray erection, trucking of power, data, telephone cables.
- Independent in Installation of earthing pit and laying the earth strips to different equipment's.
- Independent in Installation & commissioning activities of Low voltage equipment's like Fire alarm system, Door Interlock system, CCTV, Public address system etc.
- Laying & termination of different type cables.
- Installation & commissioning activities of various panels like PCC, MCC, APFC, Power and lighting DBs and VFD control panel.
- Installation & commissioning activities of various electrical light fixture, sockets & wiring
- Detailing and review of various Electrical drawing, documents and details such Lighting & Socket Layout, Power and Earthing Layout, Cable tray route and drawing for obtaining statutory approvals.
- Familiar with IEC and Indian standards.
- Coordination with equipment suppliers/vendors to discuss design issues and resolve problems.
- Able to supervise BMS and instruments related installation & commissioning activities.
- Calculation of electrical parameters and sizing of various electrical equipments like HT/LT switchyard, Earthing, Transformer, DG set & UPS etc.
- Prepared as built drawing and get the approved.
- Knowledge of electrical safety guidelines.
- Design and Estimation for tenders for Electrical Projects.
- Tendering of the whole project that includes Sub Station, HT/LT/Distribution Boards, Transformers, Diesel Generator, Electrical Panels, Cables, Earthling, Indoor/Outdoor Lighting, Point wiring, UPS, Door Interlock System, Fire Alarm System.
- Study of tender documents & preparation of Bids.
- Prepare offer & price schedule for the project.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Prepare the final costing for the tender.
- Design activities post order till customer approval.
- Design of Electrical Low, Medium and High Voltage and Power Distributions system, Estimations with high accuracy and Automation for the Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology plants globally.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10 - 15 Years in relevant field.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical and biotech projects preferred.
