Job Description: MongoDB Database Engineer Position: MongoDB Database Engineer Location: [Specify Location or Remote] Experience: 1-2 Years Employment Type: [Full-time] Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled MongoDB Database Engineer to design, manage, and optimize MongoDB databases for high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in MongoDB architecture, performance tuning, replication, and security. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain MongoDB databases for scalability and performance. Optimize queries, indexes, and schemas to enhance database efficiency. Manage replication, sharding, and failover mechanisms for high availability. Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, backups, and security issues. Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies. Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient data models and integration. Ensure data security by implementing best practices for authentication and authorization. Automate database maintenance tasks using scripts and DevOps tools. Stay updated with MongoDB best practices and emerging technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of experience working with MongoDB administration and development. Strong expertise in MongoDB aggregation framework, indexing strategies, and performance tuning. Experience with MongoDB Atlas, Replica Sets, and Sharding. Proficiency in MongoDB Query Language (MQL) and writing efficient queries. Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions like mongodump, mongorestore, or OpsManager. Hands-on experience with database security, authentication (LDAP, Kerberos), and role-based access control. Strong knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools. Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for MongoDB deployments. Familiarity with monitoring tools like MongoDB Ops Manager, Prometheus, or Grafana. Preferred Qualifications: MongoDB Certification (MongoDB DBA or Developer Associate/Professional). Experience with NoSQL data modeling and schema design best practices. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for database automation. Experience integrating MongoDB with other databases (SQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.).,
