Job Description

  • As a member of the Strategy and Planning team, you will have an opportunity to facilitate and drive high-impact initiatives benefitting GSS & Uber.
  • You will oversee the contingent workforce program.
  • As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of the program, ensuring that contingent workers are effectively managed and deliver quality results for the manual testing program.
  • The ideal candidate should have a consistent track record of running large scale programs along with technology proficiency or previous background in software testing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to lead and optimize contingent worker program
  • Run POCs for new programs to determine feasibility for new operating models
  • Lead vendor transition for different programs and be the liaison between different vendor partners
  • Work with contingent staff to implement ideas and deliver continuous improvement of programs
  • Identify and resolve any issues during the vendor transition and contingent staff management processes
  • Oversee the daily operations of the contingent worker program, and set up operational governance to ensure that operational KPIs are met
  • Manage capacity planning and forecast to achieve program goals and KPIs
  • Ensure that all contingent staff comply with expected standards, policies, and procedures
  • Track progress, resolve dependencies and manage performance metrics for the contingent staff
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency
  • Identify operational and structural opportunities to help improve our existing tools while suggesting product improvements
  • Report the status of programs to senior management, and cross-functional teams in a clear and concise manner
Basic Qualifications
  • A Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field ; Masters degree in management
  • 4 to 7 years of experience with program management and/or vendor management
  • Self-motivated with a strong affinity for problem solving in both structured and ambiguous environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of team members
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal mentorship, prioritize tasks and work under press
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a Tech background, particularly someone who understands the software testing lifecycle will be helpful
