Job Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated and talented ROS Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated software for a variety of robotics applications. You will work closely with a team of engineers to design, implement, and test cutting-edge robotic systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test ROS-based software for robotic systems. Develop and implement algorithms for robot motion planning, control, perception, and navigation. Integrate sensors and actuators with ROS. Develop and maintain software for Raspberry Pi-based robotic platforms. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware. Troubleshoot and debug software issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics and AI. Contribute to the development of new and innovative robotic technologies. Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Python and C++. Solid understanding of ROS concepts and best practices. Experience with ROS tools and libraries (e.g., Rviz, MoveIt!, navigation stack). Experience with robotics-related mathematics (linear algebra, calculus, control theory). Experience with Raspberry Pi and other embedded systems. Experience with sensor integration (e.g., cameras, lidar, IMU). Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A passion for robotics and a desire to learn and grow. Bonus Points: Experience with machine learning and AI in robotics. Experience with Gazebo or other robot simulators. Experience with ROS 2.
