Job Description
- Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and prevent security breaches. Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures. Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security solutions. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify risks. Respond to security incidents and provide root cause analysis. Work with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into network architecture. Provide security training and awareness programs for staff. Maintain compliance with industry security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). Stay updated with the latest security threats and technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in network security or a similar role. Strong knowledge of network security tools and protocols (e.g., Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS). Proficiency in security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions and threat intelligence platforms. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and networking protocols. Experience in security auditing, risk assessment, and compliance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security, or similar are highly preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, etc.). Knowledge of endpoint security solutions and identity management. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
