Job Title: Mendix Architect

 Experience: 8 To 12 years

CTC-Upto 40 LPA

Work mode-Hybrid.

Location-Mumbai/Pune

Objective:

Design and build scalable, secure and high performance applications using the Mendix low-code platform. Lead technical architecture for all Mendix solutions. Act as a subject matter expert on all aspects of Mendix architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Design application architecture blueprints leveraging the Mendix platform
• Implement architecture designs using the Mendix platform
• Develop custom Microservices and APIs using Java to integrate with Mendix applications
• Configure Mendix applications to optimize performance and scalability
• Recommend best practices for security, data management and cloud deployment
• Develop reusable widgets, templates and snippets to improve developer efficiency
• Train and mentor developers on Mendix architecture and platform improvements
• Evaluate new features and releases of the Mendix platform

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience designing and building apps on the Mendix platform
• Solid understanding of low-code, model-driven application development
• Expert knowledge of the Mendix platform, features, modules and extensions   
• Excellent Java skills for developing custom Microservices and integrations
• Proven experience architecting scalable applications and solutions
• Experience deploying Mendix apps on AWS using EC2, RDS, S3, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills   
• Good mentoring and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field

Preferred:

• Deep knowledge of architectures like Microservices and event-driven architectures
• Certifications in Mendix Developer Advanced
• Familiarity with devops practices like CI/CD, automation, observability, etc.
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark and MongoDB
