Are You Our Ideal Candidate We are seeking a skilled MEAN Stack Developer with 3-9 years of experience in building robust backend systems. You should have a deep understanding of micro-services architecture, database design, and a passion for developing efficient and scalable solutions. Experience with taxi booking, food delivery & on-demand service applications is a plus, as is familiarity with APIs such as Google Maps. Those with fintech, crypto, subscription domain should apply. What You'll Do: Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js). Architect and manage MongoDB databases to ensure data integrity, security, and efficiency. Build and integrate APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party services. Integrate external services such as SMS gateways and email systems, and manage a microservices architecture. Optimise code and APIs for performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with front-end developers (iOS/Android) to ensure seamless integration. Ensure high-performance and responsive backend systems. Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3-9 years of experience working with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js). Strong proficiency in micro-services architecture, database (MongoDB), and API design and integration. Expertise in Google Maps APIs and optimizing code and APIs. Ability to understand and collaborate on front-end development processes. Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills. Familiarity with native iOS/Android development (a plus). Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Previous experience in ride-hailing, food delivery, or on-demand applications is preferred. Solid understanding of software architecture principles.
