- Position Overview As a Senior Tech Lead or Engineering Manager, you will oversee the development and delivery of cutting-edge backend solutions while contributing to architecture, project management, and team growth. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of DevOps, supply chain processes, and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership : Lead the architecture and design of scalable backend systems, with a primary focus on Node.js and related tech stacks. Define and implement DevOps pipelines, ensuring continuous integration, delivery, and deployment best practices. Evaluate and integrate modern technologies to enhance system performance and scalability. Project Management Manage projects using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and stakeholders, to align on deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions. Team Management Lead, mentor, and groom a team of developers, fostering an environment of learning and growth. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the team adheres to best practices. Manage team performance, set objectives, and support career development goals. Supply Chain Focus Provide technical insights and solutions to optimize supply chain processes and systems. Collaborate with domain experts to design systems that streamline supply chain operations. Qualifications & Skills Technical Skills : Strong expertise in backend technologies, especially Node.js. Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), microservices, and APIs. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proven experience in designing scalable and high-performance architectures. Leadership & Management 6+ years of overall experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with developers and stakeholders. Additional Requirements Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello. Familiarity with supply chain processes and systems is highly preferred.
