Job Description
- Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented PeopleSoft Tester with 3+ Years experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing various PeopleSoft modules across Finance and HCM to ensure business functionality, performance, and compliance. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and users to validate system changes, enhancements, and customizations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for PeopleSoft applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing for both Finance and HCM modules. Validate customizations, upgrades, patches, and data interfaces. Analyze business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and scripts. Document and report defects and track them to closure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during various phases of the testing lifecycle. Ensure test coverage, accuracy, and quality across all required modules. Modules Covered: PeopleSoft Finance Modules: Procurement Purchase Order Accounts Receivable Project Costing Contract Billing General Ledger Inventory PeopleSoft HCM Modules: Recruitment Core HR Employee Self-Service (ESS) Manager Self-Service (MSS) Absence Management Compensation Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in testing PeopleSoft HCM and/or Finance modules. Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, components, and workflows. Experience using test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail). Strong SQL skills for backend data validation. Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) or other automation tools (e.g., Selenium). Exposure to PeopleSoft upgrades and patch testing. ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications. Experience working in domain-specific implementations (e.g., Telecom).,
