Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a well versed Backend developer who is proficient with Java, NodeJS and Microservices Architecture. Your primary focus will be on developing backend APIs to integrate with several third party and internal applications. You will ensure that these APIs are reliable, scalable and are highly efficient. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on infrastructure needs, building APIs, integration components and should also be able to independently solve the problems. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, optimized design, and quality product is important.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience working on Java, Collections framework, Exception Handling, IO, Serialization, Multi-Threading concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Java Script, NodeJS, ECMAScript, ES6, Type Script, NPM, etc.
• Well versed with Spring Core, Batch, Security & Boot frameworks
• Experience working with Microservices using REST Architectural principles & patterns
• Ability to work on REST & SOA Technologies including Swagger, Open API & JSON Schema & YAML
• Exposure to GraphQL & Apollo Client, also knowledge on MSSQL, AzureSQL & CosmosDB will be added advantage.
• Knowledge on Elastic Search, Caching tools along with event streaming platforms like Kafka
• Exposure to cloud technologies and be able to containerize the applications using Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as GitHub and testing frameworks like Junit, Mocha, TestNG & Selenium for automation testing
• Need to support and follow: Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery along with Unit, Functional, Automation & Performance testing techniques
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment
• Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
