- Job Title: Technical Product Manager Job Summary: The Technical Product Manager (TPM) bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that product development aligns with market needs and the organizations strategic goals. This role involves defining product vision, creating roadmaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with organizational objectives. Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements through market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback. Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery. Develop detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development team. Lead product lifecycle management, including ideation, development, launch, and post-launch evaluation. Monitor product performance metrics, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to meet engagement and revenue goals. Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to resolve issues, align on goals, and track progress. Support product launches by coordinating with marketing, training sales and support teams, and addressing customer inquiries. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain product competitiveness. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and user stories. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills for collaboration across diverse teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Excel for informed decision-making. Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana). Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Technical knowledge in areas such as APIs, software architecture, cloud technologies, or user experience design. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus. Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are advantageous. Experience Requirements: 4 to 7 years of experience in product management or related technical roles. Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing product lifecycles, and delivering successful products. Prior roles such as business analyst, product analyst, or project manager are valuable pathways to this position. Additional Qualifications: Strong customer focus and ability to empathize with user needs. Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in product management and technology.
