- Job Title: Tehcnial Project Manager - Azure Job ID: POS-10067 Primary Skill: Azure Data Factory Location: Hyderabad, India OwlSurance Technologies (OST), is a business unit of ValueMomentum Inc., that delivers cloud-based solutions to customers in P&C domain that includes Insurance carriers, MGAs, Program Administrators, etc. OST Professional Services group drives project delivery for a wide range of customers ranging from implementation of solutions leveraging ValueMomentums Product and Platform offerings, modern commercial off the shelf products/platforms, as well as custom built solutions and services. The project teams in this unit work closely with multiple internal teams including Product Engineering teams to deliver solutions as per ValueMomentums standards. Job Description The Technical Project Manager for OST plays a critical customer-facing role that drives successful implementation of business solutions. Technical Project Manager is primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data solutions on the Azure cloud platform, including building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and ensuring compliance with data governance policies. Key Roles And Responsibilities Of a Technical Project Manager Designing and architecting data storage solutions on Azure, considering scalability, performance, and cost optimization, including choosing appropriate data services like Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, or Azure Cosmos DB. Building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including data cleansing and normalization. Implementing data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the data pipeline. Creating and managing data models and schemas to effectively represent the relationships between data entities. Integrating data from multiple sources into a unified data warehouse or data lake for analysis. Monitoring and optimizing data processing performance by tuning queries, indexing, and data partitioning. Implementing data security measures like encryption, access controls, and data governance policies to protect sensitive data. Working with data analysts, data scientists, and business users to understand their data needs and provide them with the necessary data for analysis and reporting. Skills And Experience 10+ years of relevant IT experience in the following areas, including implementation experience in Cloud Data implementation projects. 10+ years of experience in managing projects involving Data platform foundation, ETL and Dashboards 5+ years in Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Fabric 5+ years of experience in analyzing and upgrading data model Experience working in Agile development environment with tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps Good communication skills to translate business requirements into technical requirements About The Company Headquartered in New Jersey, US, ValueMomentum is the largest standalone provider of IT Services and Solutions to Insurers.
