Job Description
- Join Our Team at Dextra India (French MNC): Seeking a Dynamic Deputy Manager-Inventory at Talegaon (Pune) Educational Background: Bachelors degree or higher. Work Experience: 10-12 years in warehouse operations Essential duties and Responsibilities (others may be assigned) Warehouse function Responsible for all the warehouse activity of the factory. Accountable for the stock accuracy, and quality. Validate stock and process to reject or scrap if any. Manage timing of loading and unloading, feedback to concern if any. Subcontract, part controlling (in-out for subcontract) Develop and document procedures and work instructions for all the warehousing activity. Control and reduce lead time of material supply to production. Follow up and feedback for incoming or delay of material. Build and train the store team. Supervise the daily activity. Plan, develop or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activity. Keep the warehouse clean-Apply 5S method. Inspect physical conditions of warehouse, forklifts, or equipment and order maintenance, repairs or replacements. Compute and analyze monthly KPI. Drive continuous improvement. Prepare the monthly reports. Control costs (overtime, asset) vs Budget. Manage the scrap direct sales (control the quantity, collect by supplier, collect cash, get approval) Measure the inventory accuracy. Propose action plans to reduce inventory discrepancies. Stock Analysis function Review aging stock and propose planning. Manage the inventory cycle counting. Analyses inventory gaps and find the root cause. Participate actively in the preparation and execution of the internal periodic inventory. Participate in the definition of the counting procedures as a supportive role to the costing manager incharge. Provide all necessary data for inventory accuracy indicators and discrepancies analysis. Measure the inventory accuracy. Propose action plans to reduce inventory discrepancies. Follow up and report daily relevant indicators (negatives stock, non-processed transactions etc.) Actively participate in and support the action plans to improve inventory accuracy with the support of the costing manager. Ensure regular contact and follow-up with other departments, participate in cross functional team to find solutions improving inventory accuracy. Insure the implementation and respect of those actions within the organization.,
