Job Purpose/ Summary As the Head of Digital, you will be responsible for leading the digital transformation of our organization. You will be at the forefront of our digital strategy, ensuring that we leverage the latest technologies to improve our operations, products, and services. You will be a part of the IT department and report directly to the Chief Information Officer. Job Title Head - Digital Job Description As the Head of Digital, the Deputy General Manager will be responsible for leading the digital transformation of the organization. This role will involve developing and implementing digital strategies that align with the company's business objectives. The candidate will be expected to leverage their expertise in Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing, Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality to drive innovation and efficiency across all operations. Principal Accountabilities The position will be reporting to Chief Digital Information Officer of Welspun Corp Ltd Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the company's business goals Lead the adoption of digital technologies such as Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, AI/ML, Analytics, and Digital Analytics Collaborate with different departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions through digital transformation Provide leadership and coaching to the digital team, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation Stay updated with the latest digital trends and technologies and assess their applicability to our business Manage digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget Work closely with the manufacturing department, with a special focus on discrete manufacturing and/or steel products industry Measure and report on the success of digital initiatives, using these insights to drive continuous improvement Promote a culture of innovation and digital thinking across the organization Ensure compliance with digital standards and regulations The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in digital technologies, with a special emphasis on their application in the manufacturing industry They should also possess strong leadership skills and the ability to drive digital innovation.
