Deputy General Manager - Wood Adhesives @ Personnel Search

Job Description

Job Title: Head Wood Adhesive R&D Location: Turbe, Navi Mumbai About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Head - Wood Adhesive R&D for one of the leading innovation-first companies, leading the field of adhesives and coating additive manufacturers. Job Purpose Responsible for leading the R&D efforts in adhesive technology, driving innovation, and developing new products to meet market demands. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in adhesive chemistry, and a proven track record of successful product development within the adhesive industry. Key Responsibilities Apply technical domain knowledge for the development of new products as identified by market insights, in close coordination with the Marketing/Sales Teams. Synthesis, Formulation & Testing of Emulsions for Adhesives especially Wood Working Glues. Coordinating with the Plant for Pilot Trials & Production related activities. Cost Reduction / Product Improvement Design and monitor progress on application & testing of new products and modifications/enhancements of existing products. Establish procedures and processes aligned with ISO-certified standards. Partner with plant personnel for the successful scale-up of new products to be introduced in the designated markets Provide support and inputs for the maintenance of lab records and related documents in digitized form. In partnership with the process engineering team, prepare the operating procedure and recipe in standard format for issuing to the plant. Identify and document hazards associated with Raw Materials, Processes, and Experimental & Finished Products. Educational Qualifications And Experience Masters/Ph. D/MTech from the reputed Institute in Polymer Chemistry Experience: 10+ years of relevant research experience Proficiency in using digitized operations. Ability to think creatively and translate innovative ideas through execution,
