(Vendor Management Office)

Business Context and Purpose of the Role

About VMO - VMO manages enterprise-wide sourcing strategy and vendor governance for wide variety of services. Accountabilities include policy and process development, vendor performance management, stakeholder management, and assistance in significant sourcing events including contract negotiation, vendor management and accountability of VMO-related operations.

Education and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor s or advanced degree in a technical field
  • Goal driven while able to step back and look at the bigger picture
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, and a preparedness to take on what is necessary to get things done
Responsibilities
  • Manage external life cycle management Viz guide managers on the demand creation in Partner Connect tool; raise PR / PO process with the operations team, support onboarding and offboarding of externals,
  • Demand fulfilment (Externals hiring) as per the KPI and driving governance and compliance
  • Create awareness on the overall external lifecycle management with the managers
  • Support vendors queries and set up new vendors in the tool
  • Ability to manage and understand vendor management processes and related tools
  • Coordinate with the vendor invoicing team and ensure timely payment to resources
  • Track and report SLAs on vendor performance on key parameters
  • Participate and support vendor calls
  • Analyze, track and follow-up on the timely resolution of errors and issues that are a result of vendor management processes and keep the tracker up to date
  • Ensure compliance with expectations from internal stakeholders of other departments like business, procurement, risk, safety, legal, HR etc.
  • Reviewing contract documents like SoWs, SLAs and key contract T&C
  • Own and drive multiple projects which are strategically important for the VMO team
