Site evaluation: Inspecting the site's natural formations, reviewing weather patterns, and studying geological maps and aerial photographs Risk assessment: Identifying geological hazards and environmentally sensitive features, such as landfills Sample collection: Drilling and analyzing samples of soil, bedrock, groundwater, and other materials Data analysis: Creating computer models and calculations to interpret the data Recommendations: Advising on the suitability of construction materials, the proposed use of the site, and how to minimize environmental impact Construction monitoring: Ensuring the stability of structures during and after construction Collaboration: Working with clients, other professionals, and stakeholders to build relationships and share findings,
