Job Description
- Qualifications: Education: MBA in Finance, CA, or related field. Experience: 6-8 years in business finance, preferably with exposure to the agri-input or agriculture sector. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning & Analysis Drive financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, specific to the agri-input division. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights to enhance profitability and efficiency. 2. Cost Control & Optimization Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize supply chain and procurement costs within the agri-input vertical. Monitor and analyze key cost drivers, recommending strategies to improve margins and cost efficiency. 3. Business Partnering Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain, sales, and operations, to align financial goals with business objectives. Provide financial guidance and insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives. 4. Revenue & Margin Management Monitor and enhance revenue performance across product lines within the agri-inputs sector, focusing on pricing, discounts, and profitability analysis. Lead initiatives to improve gross margins and optimize pricing models based on market trends and competitor analysis. 5. Financial Reporting & Compliance Prepare and deliver financial reports to senior management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal and external financial standards. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining internal controls and financial governance. 6. Risk Management Identify and assess financial risks within the agri-inputs function, developing mitigation strategies in alignment with corporate policies. Conduct regular audits and reviews to minimize financial exposure and enhance control mechanisms. 7. Project Management Lead finance-driven projects within the agri-inputs division, including cost-reduction initiatives, system implementation, and process improvements.,
