Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Project/Program Manager to lead our BI analytics, Data Warehousing (DWH), and new product development projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in these areas and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Lead and manage BI analytics, DWH, and new product development projects from inception to completion. Organize and lead meetings with the customer team to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and discuss technical aspects of the project. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. Dive deep into the customer's business model, key performance indicators (KPIs), and analytics needs. Identify and prioritize business use cases that align with the customer's strategic goals. Gain a thorough understanding of the customer's IT landscape, including existing systems, data sources, and infrastructure. Identify technical and non-functional requirements that need to be addressed in the proposed solution. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans that encompass all project details, including timelines, resources, budget, and risk management strategies. Use agile and waterfall methods as appropriate for project needs. Perform resource planning, including identifying and securing resources, defining roles and responsibilities, and managing resource allocation to ensure project deadlines are met. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, development, and business stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met. Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve project goals. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans as needed to ensure project success. Track project progress against milestones and deliverables. Use project management tools to monitor and report on project status to stakeholders. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for project improvement. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business requirements. Ensure thoroughness of testing and validation of deliverables before release. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 12+ years of experience in leading BI analytics, DWH, and new product development projects. Strong understanding of technology and architecture, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Self-starter with the ability to work successfully in a team environment with drive. Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
