Salient features of PH. D. work Mapping and collection of 74 accessions of Coleus forskohlii, 125 accessions of Gloriousa superb, and 52 accessions of Plumbago zeylanica from different phytogeographical regions of India Pharmacological evaluations of collected germplasms Quantification of metabolite content in collected 74 accessions of Coleus forskohlii Correlation between metabolite content and existing nutrients (Macronutrients and micronutrients) is present in soil samples. Identify elite accession based on metabolite content (Forskolin and iso-forskolin) and evaluation of the in-vitro antidiabetic potential of elite accession. This study will meet the commercial demands and be helpful to promote the cultivation of industrially important crops (Coleus forskohlii, Gloriosa superb, and Plumbago zeylanica) for societal upliftment in the identified area as well as having similar phytogeographical locations,
