- Your Job We are currently building our in-house Engineering staff and are looking for a talented, proactive HW project Manager to join our team. In this role you will have the opportunity to Manage all Hardware activities in a product program Our Team From innovative products like high-speed USB and LVDS signaling to mini coax 25Gb+ Ethernet solutions, media modules, Wireless chargers , we design, develop and manufacture products that enable flawless data transfer, electric charging within the next generation of autonomous and connected vehicles . From our corporate headquarters in Lisle, IL to manufacturing floors around the world, the Molex team is dedicated to helping further the limits of technology What You Will Do Manage the Hardware project in a product program Participate in relevant product program meetings Negotiate HW details with product program and customers Define the scope of work Determine development strategy Participate in relevant HW team meetings Provide and follow up on HW requirements Create HW project plan or/and provide input to top-level project plan Create HW build plan and schedule Define HW variants overview Prepare and run HW milestone reviews Prepare milestone checklist Prepare the review presentation. It shall contain the following items: HW project overview HW project and build schedule resource situation requirements status implementation status testing status error status open items problems risks plan to next milestone Note: Obviously the reporting size of the different issues heavily depends on the milestone and project in scope. Conduct milestone review. At least all affected HW team leaders, Project Quality Manager and Project/Program Managershall participate . Document review minutes including actions Approve HW documents and releases Track progress against plans and act to correct deviations. Create HW change documentation needed for type approvals and certifications. Follow up on HW issues Create lessons learned This role receives automatically Change Analysis items within a project for analyzing Change Requests Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or higher What Will Put You Ahead Expert knowledge in Hardware architectures and development process Good knowledge in cross-disciplinary collaboration Good knowledge in System and HW requirements specification Good project management and tracking skills. Good communication and negotiation skills .
