Job Purpose We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the dual role of People Manager and Technical Lead. This unique position requires a blend of strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for mentoring and developing teams. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, drive technical excellence, and ensure team engagement and career development. What You Will Do: As a People Manager: Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion. Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions. Act as a coach and mentor to team members, empowering them to achieve their career aspirations. Drive team engagement and promote a continuous improvement mindset. Manage team capacity and allocate resources effectively to meet organizational goals. Address team challenges promptly and ensure overall team well-being. As a Technical Lead: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables. Define and enforce best practices in software design, coding, testing, and deployment. Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and robust solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and other engineering teams. Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends, recommending relevant adoption. Serve as a point of escalation for technical challenges faced by the team. And other duties as assigned. What to Bring: Technical Skills: Proven experience in software development with expertise in Java and Pl SQL]. Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and cloud-based solutions. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and grow engineering teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle conflicts. Adept at balancing technical depth with business acumen. Experience in capacity planning and resource management.
