About Avisa Automotive: Avisa Automotive is on a mission to revolutionize street vending in India with our innovative electric utility vehicle. Designed specifically for street vendors, our compact mobile shop integrates features for cooking, selling fresh produce, juices, and more. We aim to empower the unorganized sector with sustainable and efficient mobility solutions. Backed by IIT Hyderabad and STP Pune, we are currently in the Prototype and Market Testing stage. We are looking for a Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who is passionate about automotive technology, EVs, and product development. If you have the technical expertise, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial mindset to drive innovation in sustainable mobility, we would love to have you onboard. Role & Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end product development of our electric utility vehicle, from prototyping to market deployment. Oversee design, engineering, and manufacturing processes, ensuring performance, durability, and cost optimization. Build and lead a technical team with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. Work closely with supply chain partners, component manufacturers, and research institutions to develop cutting-edge solutions. Manage vehicle testing, homologation, and regulatory compliance processes in India. Who You Are: An automotive engineer, EV expert, or product development specialist with a strong background in vehicle design and manufacturing. Experience in automotive R&D, electric vehicles, or product engineering. Proficient in CAD, simulation tools, battery systems, motor controllers, and embedded software. A problem solver who thrives in early-stage startups and can drive execution with limited resources. Passionate about social impact, sustainability, and mobility solutions for underserved communities.
