Job Description New Store Opening Manager: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated New Store Opening Manager to oversee all aspects of opening new retail locations. This role is crucial for ensuring successful and efficient store launches, contributing directly to the company's growth and brand presence. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities Project Management: Develop and manage detailed project plans for each new store opening, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and critical path activities. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Site Preparation: Oversee the build-out and preparation of new store locations, coordinating with contractors, architects, and vendors. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards. Inventory Management: Coordinate the ordering, delivery, and setup of initial store inventory. Work closely with merchandising and logistics teams to ensure appropriate stock levels and product placement. Staffing & Training: Recruit, train, and onboard new store staff, including sales associates, management, and support personnel. Develop training programs and ensure staff are knowledgeable about products, services, and company policies. Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute pre-opening and grand opening marketing plans. Coordinate local advertising, public relations, and community outreach efforts. Operations Setup: Establish and implement store operating procedures, including point-of-sale systems, cash handling, customer service protocols, and inventory control. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors for store fixtures, equipment, supplies, and other necessary resources. Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for each new store opening, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Post-Opening Analysis: Conduct post-opening reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future store openings. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize store performance. Travel: Frequent travel to new store locations is required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in retail management, with a focus on new store openings or project management. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with POS systems and other retail software. Ability to travel frequently.
