More About the Role: The position requires a combination of skills in client advisory, media relations, team mentorship, and project execution. The Senior Manager News Desk will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the News Desk, ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality news production. This role includes managing editorial workflows, supervising a team, and ensuring content is curated, edited, and published with accuracy and efficiency. The candidate should be proficient in team management, process development, and cross-functional collaboration. What You'll Do: 1. Team Leadership and Development: Build and implement processes, templates, and guidelines for the team to ensure seamless operation Supervise the day-to-day operations of the News Desk, ensuring the smooth flow of news production across multiple platforms Review and ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality of content Guide the team in evolving trends and incorporating the same Act as a mentor by fostering transparent communication and resolving issues to create a positive work environment Monitor team performance 2. Knowledge Management: Initiate and develop a knowledge hub to centralize news release distribution and coverage. 3. Client Management: Handle critical clients and oversee financial releases when required Collaborate with senior stakeholder to ensure client expectations are met efficiently Manage news releases and coordinate with the team to address queries and issue 4. Project Management and Collaboration: Work closely with technical vendors, to manage projects effectively Client dashboard development from, website upgrades, and CMS enhancements CMS and website upgrades with a focus on automating processes for efficiency Experience That Contributes to Success: 8+ years of experience.
